I am ever fascinated by how the way we move is the beauty of our life force in flow.
Thai Yoga Bodywork, also called Thai Massage is practiced clothed on a mat. It is always an honor to meet the body where it is, that day, this life-stage, these abilities, with respect, compassion and in celebration.
As a long-time student of both Yoga and Tai Chi and as a dancer by nature, I see Thai as a moving meditation for both practitioner and client. Many techniques mirror asanas and Thai is a fully supportive yoga. Moving in a centered, grounded way and using weighted pressure is also a shared Tai Chi that invites a sense of radiant, and easeful belonging.
I’m inspired to make Thai Yoga a part of families, partnerships, friendships, and communities.
It’s a relational yoga, a great way to have a conversation without saying a word, an opportunity to shift out of the habitual, to learn and expand how we meet in person with our whole body,, to normalise safe and sacred touch, to experience a more embodied everyday.
Private Sessions
Thai Yoga Bodywork sessions combine weighted deep pressure, full-body traction, and supported stretching in just the ways that are appropriate for each person.
Sessions are 2, 2 1/2, or 3 hours long. There is time to deeply rest, to experience transformation and to fully integrate.
While honoring the tradition, I bring my training and experience in many bodywork, movement modalities to all sessions.
