Thai Bodywork, Thai Massage, VT, yoga, somatic

The way of seeing and meeting that grounds sessions is Thai Bodywork, also called Thai Massage. Practiced clothed on a mat, it dates back thousands of years and came to Thailand from India.

The Thai meridians, sen, are transportation channels for life force, lung. Physiologically, these meridians map onto the major fascial flow lines, our primary pathways of agility, expression, resilience, flexibility and strength.

Working on the earth and with gravity is powerful. Sessions combine weighted deep pressure, full-body traction, and supported stretching in just the ways that are appropriate, challenging and supportive for each person.

Thai sessions are traditionally generously long: 2, 2 1/2 and 3 hours. Real change can occur.  Integration can be complete.

While honoring the tradition, I bring my training and experience in many bodywork, presence and movement modalities to all sessions.  I take time to listen.
